Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.

Revelation 4:11

Because God created everything. He is in charge of everything.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

Everyone sins, or disobeys God, and this sin separates us from Him.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

God is holy and must punish sin. He sent His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment we deserve.

For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus took our punishment for sin by giving His life, and He gives us His righteousness. God sees us as if we lived the perfect life Jesus lived. This is the greatest gift of all!
