New to the Grace 4th of July extravaganza in 2018 is the Cardboard Boat Regatta! What is that, you may be asking?
-Teams design, create, and decorate a boat made entirely out of cardboard and duct tape. Rules and regulations may be picked up at Grace PCA or downloaded below.
-Your ship captain and crew will navigate the unpredictable Grace pond to be the first team to cross the finish line (or the team whose boat makes it the furthest without sinking!) and claim the title and trophy as the 2018 Grace Cardboard Boat Regatta Champions.
-There will also be a pre-race contest for best boat that is judged upon design, creativity, ingenuity, and theme. We highly encourage patriotic themes as we celebrate our nations independence day!
After the Regatta is over, join us for dinner and fun as we celebrate the 4th of July, all culminating in a spectacular firework show at 9pm. You won't want to miss this fun night! Get your crew together and sign up to day to be a part of the historical first annual Grace Cardboard Boat Regatta!
